On 19 August, 2023 the INCOSE Chesapeake Chapter held a Saturday morning social event at the College Park Aviation Museum located near the University of Maryland. Nine members attended a private walking tour.

Sutton presents a project that defines a system that permits any resident of a state (of the United States), no matter his/her place of residence or access to technology, to obtain a vaccine appointment for the initial vaccine dose, the second dose (if needed), and a booster dose and maintains the vaccine record for the resident.
David Long, ESEP, and president of Blue Holon, Inc, discusses how the advance of technologies and growth of complexity has led to yesterday’s approaches failing. He further explains how we can move beyond 20th century engineering, how we must adapt and transform. Drawing from Systems Engineering Vision 2035 and insights from around the world,David shows how systems engineering must evolve to engineer a better tomorrow.
This February and March, Chesapeake Chapter volunteers again participated as independent sponsor judges at the Anne Arundel County Public Schools Science and Engineering Expo. There were five volunteers this year: Clinton Hilliard, Jim Campbell, Jim DeCamp, Josephine Podolsky, and Daniel Yue.
